Due to lack of equipment, surgery could not be done at Narayani Hospital, complicated surgeries were stopped as the laparoscopy machine for performing uterine surgery through binoculars was not complete in the maternity hospital.
Surgery at Veer Hospital, National Institute of Medical Sciences, has been stalled for four months due to lack of uro surgery equipment. Narayani Hospital Birgunj also has a urology specialist. However, due to delay in procurement of equipment by the Department of Health Services, the surgery could not be carried out.
