Expressing his satisfaction that Nepal is making progress in the treatment and care of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's kidney, he said that Nepal will probably be the country in the world that provides health services at an affordable price.

Inaugurating the fifth conference of the Nepal Society of Nephrology, Prime Minister Oli emphasized on making the healthy Nepal campaign meaningful by spreading public awareness about health along with poverty alleviation.

Prime Minister Oli, who underwent kidney transplant twice, mentioned that when he underwent the first transplant, he did it in India because there were no facilities in Nepal, and when the facility became available for the second time, he felt proud to do the transplant in Nepal as the Prime Minister. Stating that the conclusions obtained from the

conference will be useful to the government for policy reforms, Prime Minister Oli made it clear that the government will always be with kidney disease specialists. President of the society Prof. Dr. Divya Singh Shah gave a presentation on the problem of kidney disease in South Asia and efforts to diagnose it.
