Health and Population Minister Pradeep Paudel has said that no one injured in the disaster should be deprived of treatment.
While informing about the condition of the injured at the National Trauma Center on Thursday, he said, 'None of the injured should be deprived of treatment. The treatment of any complicated condition of the wounded will be free of charge.' He said that all health institutions have been instructed to provide services in an effective manner.
Minister Paudel informed that the hospital will arrange for the injured to go to health institutions for treatment and those who cannot come. Since the disaster can cause epidemic diseases, a joint meeting has been held with the Ministry of Water Supply regarding clean drinking water. He said.
He said that preparations are being made to organize health camps in flood-affected areas. For this, he said, he will proceed by coordinating with the local and regional levels. So far, 24 injured people have been treated at the trauma center, 13 of them have been discharged and some have undergone surgery.
