Two people died in a tractor accident in Parbat on Saturday. One was injured.
According to the District Police Office, Parbat, the tractor (Ga 1 Ta 7273) heading from Kushma to Gyadi's Cycle Chowk fell about 100 meters down the Dobilla-Phalebas road section in Ekohorepatha, Kushma Municipality-9. The tractor driver, Sujan Nepali, 28, of Kushma-7, and Shishir Lamichhane, 14, of Kushma-9 Cycle Chowk, the passenger in the tractor, died in the accident, the District Police Office, Parbat, informed.
The injured were immediately rescued and taken to the Provincial Hospital, Parbat, where two people were declared dead by doctors, said Dinesh Poudel, Police Inspector of the District Police Office, Parbat.
