All 10 local governments in the district have made public their estimated budgets for the upcoming fiscal year. Four municipalities and six rural municipalities have made public their estimated budgets for the upcoming fiscal year, including policies and programs, totaling about 8 billion rupees.
Byas Municipality has proposed a budget of 1.5 billion 20 million 1 thousand rupees for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/084 at the 45th session of the Municipal Assembly held on Wednesday. Deputy Mayor Indira Darai presented a budget of 1.2 billion 37 million 62 thousand rupees for current expenditure and 478 million 239 thousand rupees for capital expenditure.
Shuklagandaki Municipality has proposed an estimated budget of 1.13 billion 54 million 49 thousand rupees for the fiscal year 2083/084. Deputy Mayor Sharda Khanal presented an estimated budget of Rs. 635.455 crore for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/084.
Bhanu Municipality Deputy Mayor Uma Gotame has presented a budget of Rs 843.89 million for the fiscal year 2083/084. According to the presented budget, the total revised income in the current fiscal year has reached Rs 808.48 million, which is 86.13 percent of the proposed income.
On the expenditure side, Rs 476.963 million, or 74.56 percent, has been spent on current expenditure, while capital expenditure has been Rs 89.82 million, or 30.08 percent. The municipality has stated that the average expenditure under both current and capital headings has reached 64.41 percent so far.
Similarly, Myagde Rural Municipality has presented an estimated budget of Rs 743.278 million for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/084. In the village assembly held on Monday, Vice President Balkrishna Ghimire informed that Rs 479.3 million has been allocated for current expenditure and Rs 263.9 million for capital expenditure.
Ghiring Rural Municipality has passed the policy and program as well as the budget for the upcoming fiscal year at the 20th session of the village assembly. The rural municipality has presented a budget of Rs 500 million for the upcoming fiscal year.
Bandipur Rural Municipality has proposed a budget of Rs 687.8 million, while Rishing Rural Municipality has proposed a budget of Rs 536.2 million. Devghat Rural Municipality has proposed Rs 555.8 million. According to which, the rural municipality has proposed a budget of Rs 391.7 million and Rs 164.1 million.17 thousand for current expenditure and Rs 648.3 million for capital expenditure.
Aanbukhaireni Rural Municipality has proposed an estimated budget of Rs 648.32 million. The rural municipality has stated that the proposed budget is 62.22 percent for current expenditure and 37.78 percent for capital expenditure.
