Jaimini Municipality is going to make it a squatter-free municipality. The policy and program and budget for the fiscal year 2083/084 have also made arrangements for the budget for that term.

Jaimini Municipality has been working for the past three/four years to build houses for the homeless, manage squatters, and properly manage unorganized settlements. The policy and program has been arranged to solve all these problems within the coming year, and the budget has also been arranged to complete the work. The municipality has allocated 3.15 million rupees to build houses for the homeless. Similarly, 450 thousand rupees have been allocated for the plan to replace thatched roofs. For the last few years, it has been purchasing and providing zinc sheets to families with thatched roofs.

Jaimini has also allocated Rs 1.2 million to expand the new banana pocket area in the Kaligandaki Corridor to increase banana production, expanding last year's slogan of 'Go to the forest and eat bananas'. The banana pocket program has been introduced targeting farmers living along the roads. Jaimini is a fertile area for banana cultivation.

Jaimini has allocated a budget of Rs 3 million for the health treatment fund. This budget will support the treatment of patients and will support those suffering from chronic diseases. The municipality, which provided Rs 5,000 per month for the treatment of 81 chronic disease patients last year, aims to support their treatment this year as well. A maternity waiting house has been built in partnership so that the nurses of women who come to the health post can stay.

Deputy Chief Harihar Sharma had presented an estimate of Rs 768.8 million in income and expenditure for the upcoming fiscal year to the municipal council. Out of the budget, Rs 91.7 million is expected to come from the federal government's revenue sharing, Rs 111.3 million from the federal government's fiscal equalization grant, Rs 420 million from the federal government's conditional grant, Rs 14.3 million from the provincial government's fiscal equalization grant, and Rs 15.5 million from internal revenue. In terms of expenditure, Rs 56.6 million has been allocated for social development, Rs 18.8 million for economic development, and Rs 118.2 million for infrastructure development.

Since Jaimini has been declared a child-friendly city, it is also mentioned that it will be updated, child marriage will be discouraged, youth conferences will be held for the effectiveness of the judicial committee, and excellent schools will be selected and managed with hostels.
