Mule traffic has been banned from Ashad 19 for 9 days for the upgrading of the trekking route.
Chumanubri Rural Municipality has banned mule traffic for 9 days in the area where the trekking route is being upgraded.
Mule traffic has been banned from Ashad 10 to 18 in the Jharana area of Chumanubri-3 and Dang area of Ward No. 5 under the Manaslu Trek. The Film-Larke Pass trekking route is being upgraded as per the annual approved plan of the rural municipality for 2082/083. The rural municipality has issued a public notice informing that construction work on slopes, railings, etc. is being done on the trekking route.
The rural municipality has also stated that after the upgrading of the trekking route, traffic will be easy and safe. Mule transport entrepreneurs, traders and stakeholders have been urged not to use mules on the said trekking route.
