The CPN-Maoist led by Netra Bikram Chand has taken action by relieving Uma Bhujel of her party responsibilities.

The CPN-Maoist meeting on Sunday and Monday has decided to relieve Bhujel, who is also a secretariat member, from all responsibilities including the party's central committee, according to a press release.

'After a serious discussion with the general secretary after the central committee meeting, secretariat member Comrade Bhujel decided to relieve her of her responsibilities as she was 'continuously deviant, escapist and factional against the party's ideas, policies and decisions,' the press release issued by Chand states. Bhujel is one of the top leaders of the Maoist party.
