The Barpak Sulikot Rural Municipality has honored students who scored 4 GPA in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) with a cash prize of Rs 100,000.

Unique Paneru, who participated in the SEE from Shailputri Secondary School in Barpak Sulikot-7 and scored 4 GPA, was honored with a cash prize by the rural municipality. The rural municipality had publicly announced that students who score excellent marks would be rewarded with cash after taking a decision in the executive meeting before the SEE examination began. On Friday, rural municipality chairman Bishnu Bhatta honored him with cash.

Nine students who scored more than 3.4 GPA in the SEE were honored with cash prizes on Friday, informed the rural municipality's Chief Administrative Officer Subash Ale. The rural municipality honored 7 students who scored 3.4 to 3.59 GPA with Rs 10,000 and 1 student who scored 3.6 GPA with Rs 15,000. Similarly, Ale said that 10 of the 12th grade, 9 of the 10th grade, 7 of the 8th grade, and 6 of the 5th grade were also honored with a cash prize of Rs. 5,000 each. 

Tika Bahadur Ale, principal of Stull Basic School, and Ram Kumar Angai, principal of Shailputri Secondary School, have also been honored with cash prizes by the rural municipality as the best principals.
