Kavindra Burlakoti, a member of the House of Representatives elected from Gorkha-2, is currently touring villages to understand the problems of voters. Burlakoti has been meeting locals in all the rural areas of Gorkha-2. 'I have thanked the voters, listened to their problems, and facilitated them if they can be resolved immediately,' he said.
Burlakoti, who was busy meeting voters in Palungtar-9 on Sunday, was busy interacting with voters in Palungtar-6, 7, 3 and 2 on Monday. 'Voters have raised issues of infrastructure development, from the problem of telephone towers to the construction of roads, drinking water and bridges,' he said. MP Burlakoti said that locals have demanded to speed up the road construction, citing the delay in the work on the Turture-Radha Krishna Temple road section and the Mid-Hill Highway in Palungtar.
Burlakoti, who is also the general secretary of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSWP), has already reached various places in Ajirkot, Warpak, and Sulikot rural municipalities under Gorkha-2 and interacted with voters after his election. 'There are 638 villages in Gorkha-2, although I have not been able to reach all the villages, I plan to reach the main/main places of the municipality by Baisakh,' he said. 'I have been listening to the complaints of voters and trying to resolve them immediately if they can be resolved.' He said that the locals here have also demanded that the unused building built by the Ministry of Urban Development in Palungtar-7 be put into use.'
Burlakoti also inspected the Aanppipal Hospital on Monday. He was interested in the expansion and management of hospital services.
