The Mid-Hill Highway has been blocked due to another landslide in Bimirebhanjyang, Madhya Nepal Municipality-10, Lamjung.
The police have said that the road was completely blocked due to a landslide around 5:30 pm on Wednesday due to rain. According to Abhishek Pandey, Acting Chief Police Inspector of the District Police Office, Lamjung, the road was blocked for about 2 hours on Wednesday morning at the same place. After that, the landslide occurred again on the road that was operational.
A large landslide had earlier occurred in the Bimirebhanjyang area of the road section connecting Besisahar via Sundar Bazaar to Bhorletar and the provincial capital Pokhara. Police have informed that efforts are underway to open the road.
