A bus accident occurred at around 4 pm on Friday in Seratar, Shuklagandaki Municipality-7 of the district along the Prithvi Highway.
Police said the accident occurred when the driver of the passenger bus (Ga 2 Kha 1836) heading from Pokhara to Bhairahawa lost control.
Police said a police team was immediately deployed to the scene from the Area Police Office, Belchautara, after receiving information about the accident.
Police said rescue operations are ongoing for those injured in the accident and they are being sent to nearby health facilities for treatment. The bus is said to be operating under the Prithvi Committee.
District police said that detailed details of the incident are yet to be released.
