Although the Education and Human Resource Development Center has instructed to start the 2083 academic session from Baisakh 15, the local levels of Lamjung have decided to start teaching from Baisakh 10.

According to the constitution, the management of basic and secondary education falls within the authority of the local levels, and the local levels have stated that they will start teaching before the central directive.

The local levels of Lamjung have made a schedule for the admission campaign and regular teaching for the academic session 2083 and have circulated it to schools.

The Besisahar Municipality has issued a notice stating that it will conduct a student admission campaign from Baisakh 7 to 9. The notice states that the Bensisahar Municipal Education Committee will decide to conduct regular teaching for the academic session 2083 from Baisakh 10.

The Sundarbazar Municipality has issued a press release stating that the new academic session 2083 will be conducted from Baisakh 10. Schools have stated that they will hold coordination meetings with stakeholders from April 3 to 6 to prepare annual work schedules, prepare school improvement plans, determine educational quality improvement programs, and hold meetings with stakeholders.

A press release issued by Mayor Krishna Prasad Koirala states that a formal student enrollment campaign will be launched from April 7 and regular classes will begin from April 10.

Madhya Nepal Municipality has also decided to conduct regular classes in all schools within the municipality from April 10. The municipality has decided to start the enrollment campaign from April 7, saying that it will conduct the new academic session 2083 in a systematic manner.

According to Mayor Ramesh Kumar Pandey, it has also been decided that schools that are close to closing due to low student numbers will be merged with the nearest school by April 25 and that the necessary documents will be submitted to the municipality.

In Marsyangdi Rural Municipality, classes are set to begin from April 14. According to Rural Municipality Chairman Arjun Gurung, textbook distribution will start from Baisakh 7 along with the student admission program and door-to-door campaign. He said that door-to-door campaigns will be conducted in the morning and evening to facilitate coordination with parents.

He said that a plan for improving student learning will be prepared on Baisakh 8 and 9 through a joint meeting of the school management committee and teachers. He said that teachers will be able to prepare lesson plans by preparing the annual work schedule and educational plan by Baisakh 10 and 11.

There are 8 local levels in Lamjung, but four municipalities have not formally made public the information about the admission campaign and regular teaching.

Ishwar Poudel, Chairman of Private and Residential School Organization (PABSON) Lamjung, said that admission and regular teaching will start as per the decision of the local level. 'In most local levels, it has been said that the admission campaign will start from Baisakh 7 and regular teaching will start from Baisakh 10.'
