Teacher Bhuwan Sedai informed that the roof of Triveni Secondary School in Palungtar-9 was also blown off by the wind. 'A strong wind came, the roof of the school's administrative building was blown off, and the computers were damaged. It is not possible to observe the extent of the damage as it is raining now,' he said. 'The roofs of many locals' houses and sheds have also been blown off.'
Locals said that trees have fallen on the roads in the Palungtar-9 area, affecting movement. "After the roof was blown off, some of the crops inside the houses got wet," he said. The District Police Office, Gorkha, has stated that the details of the damage could not be collected as the rain continued. Similarly, a tree fell at Panch Kilo in Gorkha Municipality-13 under the Gorkha-Aanbukhaireni road section, causing the road to become one-way. A police team deployed from Majhuwa Deurali has opened the road to one-way after the tree fell. DSP Rajkumar Shrestha of the District Police Office, Gorkha, said that the road has now been opened to one-way after the tree was removed.
