Two local levels in the district have decided to conduct a school admission campaign for the new academic session from Wednesday and resume regular teaching and learning. Aanbukhaireni Rural Municipality and Bandipur Rural Municipality issued a notice on Monday and said that they will conduct an admission campaign for the new academic session from Baisakh 2.
The rural municipality chairperson Shukra Chuman said that the schools under Aanbukhaireni have been instructed to start the admission campaign from Baisakh 2 and conduct regular teaching and learning together. ‘The rural municipality has asked all community and institutional schools to complete their preparations on time according to their academic calendar,’ he said, ‘The school’s academic calendar has already been prepared.’ While preparing to extend the school opening date to 220 days, the entire academic session, including Sunday holidays, was delayed by 15 days and the entire academic session, including the Sunday holiday, was in trouble.’
He said that the decision was taken to ensure that the students’ academic activities are not affected as there is no major problem due to the shortage of petroleum products.
Similarly, Bandipur Rural Municipality has also informed schools to conduct admissions from Baisakh 2 to 8 and regular classes from 9.
According to Bandipur Rural Municipality Chairman Surendra Bahadur Thapa, community and institutional schools operating within the rural municipality have been instructed to conduct admissions campaigns from Baisakh 2 to 8, prepare an action plan for the academic session 2083, prepare and prepare an annual schedule, prepare a plan for improving student learning achievement, and conduct regular classes from Baisakh 9.
Although the Education and Human Resource Development Center has said that the 2083 admissions campaign will begin from Baisakh 15 and classes will begin from Baisakh 21, both local levels have stated that they will conduct classes according to their academic calendars as the local level has the authority to manage education up to the basic and secondary levels.
