Ajay Pandey has come first in the 'Laligurans Race' competition held under the first Siranchowk Laligurans Mela. The Laligurans Festival has been organized with the aim of promoting tourism in the Siranchowk area.
Pandey became the first by completing the 10-kilometer distance from Siranchowk's office Chitrepokhari to Tundikhel in Siranchowk in 37 minutes and 13 seconds. Sanam Gurung came second in the competition, covering the specified distance in 37 minutes and 29 seconds, and Saroj Giri came third in 40 minutes and 11 seconds. The first place winner in the competition received a cash prize of 20,000, the second 15,000, and the third 10,000 and certificates.
The festival, which began on Chaitra 16, included a walking tour, a secondary school-level oratory competition, a Laligurans photo and video competition, and an exhibition of local agricultural products. Hikers hiked along five routes within the rural municipality, observing the Laligurans.
