A two-day media fair is being organized by the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Baglung. Chairman Ram Thapa said that the federation is going to hold the fair with more than a dozen activities on Chaitra 20 and 21.

The fair is going to include panel discussions on various dimensions of journalism, exhibitions of old and traditional media materials, painting, photo exhibitions, and writing wall newspapers. Tourism experts including Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry President Chandra Dhakal will participate in the fair on the issues of agriculture and tourism in Baglung.

Similarly, discussions will be held on the issues of Nepali journalism with former Federation President Dharmendra Jha, current General Secretary Ram Prasad Dahal, Kantipur journalist Deepak Sapkota, journalists Ujir Magar, Ekraj Pathak, Shubha Shankar Kandel, Sirjana Sijju, Ujwal Acharya and others.

The program will feature the participation of Bhuwan Singh Bishwakarma, the first Nepali to reach Antarctica, artist Basanta Thapa, Dalit rights activist Kunjani Pariyar, conservationist RK Adipta Giri, public representatives and journalists active in various fields. It is also said that journalists from most districts of Gandaki Province will also participate in the media fair.
