The co-driver of the tipper who went missing after jumping into the Kaligandaki River from Maldhunga, Kushma Municipality-1, Parbat on Monday night has not been found yet. According to the police, the 25-year-old co-driver, Bishal BK, ran away and jumped into the Kaligandaki River while the team from the temporary police post Maldhunga was checking the tipper. 

At around 11 pm, the police stopped the tipper (Ga 1 Ka 5244) heading towards Baglung from Jaljala Rural Municipality and searched it. He is a local resident of Nangliwang, Jaljala Rural Municipality-8. 

The family members of the missing co-driver BK have been blocking the Pokhara-Baglung road section since Tuesday morning, raising slogans, accusing the police of forcing him to die under the pretext of searching. The police had removed the relatives who had come out on the road in the morning and brought the road into operation for a while. But since then, the road has been blocked repeatedly.

'We searched up to Modibeni Ghat and from a raft boat,' he said. 'The diving team also continued the search around the rock where it is said that the person jumped, but could not be found.×' He says that the search operation has been stopped for the time being due to rain.
