Acharya made this information through a meeting of the District Disaster Management Committee and the District Supply Management Committee.
He has suggested that all municipalities, offices, and businessmen in the district work keeping in mind the interests of consumers. 'We will take action if gas and oil are stored and hidden unnecessarily,' he said, 'We will go to light the stoves of citizens in urgent need.' For that, he said, the basic number of materials required in the district will be determined, the storage capacity will be studied, and the distribution system will be made transparent. Acharya said that the meeting of the District Disaster Management Committee and the District Supply Management Committee took this decision.
The local level chiefs and deputy chiefs, heads of security agencies, and representatives of all concerned offices have discussed the preparedness for disaster management and the complications arising in the daily lives of citizens and have expressed their commitment to work to prevent any problems in the coming days.
After deciding to make every effort to facilitate the availability of daily necessities, Assistant District Attorney Nawaraj Baral informed that a detailed monitoring of every shop, firm, and potential location was conducted. Gandaki Thapa, Chair of Badigad Rural Municipality, said that a conclusion was reached to advise the people not to suffer due to the fluctuation in the price of petroleum products. She said that suggestions were also made to facilitate administratively in matters such as increasing prices in the market and not getting goods. Stakeholders have complained that prices are increasing and essential goods are not available as a preparation for this.
