Pokhara's cooperative victims submitted a memorandum to Congress President Gagan Thapa in Pokhara on Friday. The victims submitted the memorandum to him at a meeting held at Amar Singh Maidan, where he had come to Pokhara to address the Congress' election rally. Kiran Shrestha, coordinator of the Cooperative Savings Victims' Struggle Committee, Kaski, and others submitted the memorandum. Shrestha said that the government formed after Falgun 21 has submitted the memorandum demanding a guarantee of return of savings and action against those involved in cooperative fraud. 'We have been victims of many things,' he said. 'We have submitted the memorandum with the hope that the problem will be resolved when he becomes the Prime Minister.'
