Forty-two election police officers from Gorkha have been sent to Baglung for the upcoming House of Representatives elections.

Insufficient election police have also been sent from Gorkha after the demand for applications was not received in Baglung. 

DSP Rajkumar Shrestha of the District Police Office, Gorkha said that 42 people on the alternative list have been sent to Baglung as per their wishes.   

DSP Shrestha also said that 2,283 election police required for Gorkha are being selected and trained.

Training for election police has been provided from Gorkha Harmatari Playground, Gorkha Campus, Majhuwa, Area Police Offices Thati Pokhari, Jowari and Arughat.

Similarly, training of 79 people selected for the Armed Police Force is also being conducted at the Armed Police Camp in Ahale.
