Members of the District Security Committee have conducted on-site inspections at sensitive and highly sensitive polling stations in eastern Nawalparasi.

Under the leadership of Chief District Officer Bhavishwar Pandey, the Assistant Chief District Officer, Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, Nepal Police, and the Chief of National Investigation conducted an on-site inspection.

During the inspection, discussions were held with the locals about the possible challenges that may arise during the election, the geographical location for transporting ballot boxes, ballot papers, and security arrangements. 

Chief District Officer Bhavishwar Pandey said that the inspection of sensitive and highly sensitive polling stations in Mainaghat, Mathar, and other areas, which are considered the former areas of Madhyabindu Municipality and Hupsekot Rural Municipality, and discussions and inspections were held with the locals to ensure that they participate confidently in the election. 

Out of 114 polling stations in the district, 11 have been classified as highly sensitive and 50 as sensitive.  East Nawalparasi, which has two constituencies, has 268,526 voters.
