The District Police Office, Gorkha, has extended the deadline for recruitment into the Election Police by two days.
The deadline has been extended by two days after the number of applications was less than the required number.
Rajan Lamsal, Police Inspector of the District Police Office, Gorakh, said that those interested in becoming election police officers can apply for two days on Saturday and Sunday. Those interested have also been urged to apply within the extended deadline.
Only 1,964 applications were received against the requirement of 2,283 election police officers in the district. Applications have been invited again to fill the insufficient quota.
