Two days ago, Gajendra Bahadur Ale and Ghimire registered their candidacies here by bringing tickets signed by Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa.
Bal Krishna Ghimire has been designated as the official candidate of the Nepali Congress in East Nawalparasi Constituency No. 1.
Chief Election Officer Kamal Gyawali informed that Balkrishna Ghimire has been declared the candidate. Balkrishna is a leader in the district who has openly supported the special general convention initiated by President Thapa and Vice President Bishwaprakash Sharma. He is also the district vice president of the Nepali Congress.
In West Nawalparasi constituency number 2, the Congress has fielded Bhim Bahadur Thapa as its candidate.
