Two people have died in a tractor accident in Syangja while they were travelling from Waling to Chapakot. The deceased have been identified as 65-year-old Dolraj Koirala of Kebare, Waling Municipality-7, and 35-year-old Rajkumar Chaudhary of Tikapur Municipality-7, Kailali.

They were declared dead by doctors during treatment at the Primary Health Center, Waling.  According to the District Police, on Tuesday afternoon, a tractor bearing the number Lu 3 Ta 5173 lost control while carrying stones from Waling and fell 10 meters off the road.

Similarly, four people were injured in the accident. According to District Police Information Officer DSP Prashanna Raj Chaudhary, the injured are Lal Bahadur Sunar, 28, of Saral Gapa-1 in West Nawalparasi, Shyam Chaudhary, 22, of Lamki Municipality-5 in Kailali, Laxman Chaudhary, 39, and Hukum Bahadur Darlami, 35, of Rapti Gapa-5 in Dang. After initial treatment, the Waling Health Center has referred them to Pokhara for further treatment.
