The traffic operation has been resumed since Monday after constructing a bridge over the Kerunge River between Kawasoti and Danda along the Mahendra Highway. The construction of this bridge began four years ago as part of the expansion of the Mahendra Highway.
According to Rakesh Jha, consultant engineer of China State Engineering Corporation, which is working on widening the Butwal-Narayangadh road, the Kerunge River bridge has been reopened after constructing an approach road.
