The school has stated that the amount was collected from well-wishers from home and abroad on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee organized for the enhancement of the educational quality of the school and the development of physical infrastructure.
The school organized the Golden Jubilee for 3 days from Wednesday to Friday. During the festival, Bishnulal Shrestha and his wife Durga Shrestha of Besisahar Municipality-2 Bhakunde have contributed the most, amounting to Rs 555,555. Shrestha, who is also an alumnus, is the coordinator of the Non-Resident Nepali Liaison Coordination Sub-committee formed under the Golden Jubilee. Having lived in Qatar for a long time and currently working in the UAE, he is active in social service both at home and abroad.
The school's founder and coordinator of the financial collection sub-committee, Koshlendra Kandel, has contributed Rs 555,554. Festival coordinator and School Management Committee chairman Madan Bahadur Rana has contributed Rs 355,555 to the Golden Fund. Similarly, Kajiram Thapa, who is currently in the US, has donated Rs 311,111.
According to the school's principal, Bishnu Prasad Baral, about 7.6 million rupees had been collected from the door-to-door campaign conducted before Tihar. The remaining amount was raised around the Golden Jubilee. Besisahar Municipality has allocated 400,000 rupees for the construction of the Golden Gate and the ward office has allocated 200,000 rupees for the Golden Jubilee.
It is said that the Golden Fund was established with the aim of developing the school as a modern, quality and first-choice educational institution of parents in the long term. The school has stated that the fund will be spent on digital teaching and learning, teacher competency development, physical infrastructure improvement, construction of new buildings, library and assembly hall, and construction of a children's park.
On the occasion of the Golden Jubilee, the school's founders, land donors and donors were honored. The land donors, founders and special donors who provided land in 2032 BS, when the school was established, were honored with certificates of appreciation and were honored with Dosalla Odhai Panchebaja. The program was honored by Besisahar Municipality Mayor Guman Singh Aryal, Chief District Officer Umesh Dhungana, School Management Committee Chairman Madan Bahadur Rana, and others.
