Police have arrested two people with narcotics from Kawasoti Municipality-16 in eastern Nawalparasi.
They were arrested with drugs in a passenger bus coming from Butwal to Narayangadh during a routine check on the East-West Highway, said Police Inspector Birendra Raj Gurung of the District Police Office, Nawalpur.
The arrested are Ramu Nau, 25, of Bardaghat, West Nawalparasi, and Rajkumari Kunwar, 19, of Sunwal. Police said that 2,770 ampoules of drugs, including diazepam, promethazine hydrochloride and buprenorphine injection, were recovered from them.
