Former Gandaki Province Minister Kumar Khadka, businessman Milan Thapa close to the Congress, businessman Pushpa Adhikari close to the UML, and pilot Madan KC joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Saturday.
Congress leader and former minister of Gandaki Province, Kumar Khadka, has joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
Along with him, businessman Milan Thapa, close to the Congress, businessman Pushpa Adhikari, and pilot Madan KC also joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Saturday. They were welcomed by Vice President Swarnim Wagle at the RSS's Gandaki provincial level member meeting program on Saturday.
Khadka started politics by founding the Akhand Nepal Party. After joining the Congress, he was elected as a proportional representation MP in the first provincial assembly.
He was dissatisfied when another Congress leader Bindu Kumar Thapa got a ticket from Kaski 2 (B) in the last provincial assembly member election. He was taken into action by the Congress in the last election for opposing Thapa.
Bindu Kumar Thapa is currently the Minister for Social Development in the province. Milan Thapa, who joined the RSS on Saturday, is the wife of Bindu's brother Dhruv Thapa. Milan is active in organizations including Lions. Thapa and Khadka's provincial constituency also share the same constituency.
Rupakot Resort operator Pushpa Adhikari was previously close to the UML. He was also an aspirant for the post of Pokhara Metropolitan City Mayor from UML.
