Nepal's number one tennis player Pradeep Khadka has been signed as the personal coach of rising junior player Aryas Raj Poudel. He has signed a contract to become Aryas's coach for two years. The agreement was signed between Khadka and Aryas' family at the conclusion of the 22nd Machhapuchhre Open Tennis.

Aryash's father and secretary of the Kaski District Tennis Association, Bhishmaraj Poudel, said that the practice of appointing a personal trainer through such an agreement is new in Nepali tennis. He said that Aryash, who has been playing in the U-12 category in Pokhara, was appointed a personal trainer to hone his talent because he is passionate about tennis. Pradeep said that this agreement played an important role in his desire to stay in Pokhara and take tennis forward.

Aryash, who started his journey from the junior age group, has traveled to the international stage in a short time by winning medals continuously in various level competitions. He started his medal journey by winning gold in the U-8 category of the Bir Ganeshman National Junior Tennis in October 2021. This success story continued in 2022, where he added gold medals from the U-8 category of national competitions organized by Team Tennis Nepal and the Junior Tennis Initiative (JTI). Towards the end of that year, he managed to win double gold in both the U-9 and U-10 categories at the Bir Ganeshman National Competition.

2023 proved to be a very productive year for Aryas. He maintained his dominance in various age groups. He won four gold medals in the U-9 and U-10 categories at the Manushree/Vighnajit National Junior Tennis Tournament held in January and April and other national tournaments.

He also won gold medals in both the U-9 and U-10 categories at the Rising Star Open Tennis held in June 2023. Despite not being able to play the final match due to a muscle injury in November 2023, he won silver medals in the U-10 and U-12 categories. He won gold medals in both the U-10 and U-12 groups at the Gandaki Provincial Level Fistel Sports Fest.

By 2024, Aryas had established himself in the U-12 category. He won the title in the Manushree/Vighnajit National Tournament held in Kaski and reached the final in the U-12 Boys category of the Junior Tennis Tour held in Lalitpur. He came first in the U-10 category and second in the U-12 category in the MTC Junior Tennis.

Recently, Aryas, who represented Nepal in the ATF U-12 Tennis Championship held in Colombo, Sri Lanka in June 2025, secured second place. He won gold in the 23rd Jayakar Smriti National Junior Tennis held in Poush. His father Bhishmaraj Poudel is also a tennis player.
