Political parties have submitted their closed lists of proportional representation candidates for the elections to be held on February 21. In the closed lists submitted by the parties, new faces from Gorkha have become proportional representation candidates.

Mohan Bahadur Thapa of the RPP has also become a proportional candidate. He is the central spokesperson and head of the publicity department of the RPP from Bhismen Thapa Rural Municipality.
