The Nepali Communist Party (NCP) Lamjung has recommended the names of 13 people for the direct election and 14 people for the proportional representation for the House of Representatives elections scheduled to be held on February 21.
Since Lamjung has only one constituency of the House of Representatives, 13 people, including Dev Prasad Gurung, the former general secretary and former MP of the Maoist Center, have been recommended for the direct election. Gurung was defeated by Prithvi Subba Gurung of the CPN (UML) in the 2079 election when the Maoist Center and the Congress formed an electoral alliance.
The names of Parasmani Poudel, Devendra Parajuli, Ijan Baral, Rishi Kattel, Madhu Adhikari Gurung, Urmila Majhi Poudel, Mekh Bahadur Bhandari, Harijang Tamang, Chandrakant Neupane, Lilijang Gurung and Yama Bahadur Gurung have also been recommended for the direct election.
Dayasagar Ghimire, Krishna Bahadur Sunar, Saraswati Bhattarai, Nanda Bahadur Kumal, Murari Bhujel, Him Kumari Sunar, Indira Pokharel, Sunil Sunar, Vasudev Mishra, Yashoda Neupane, Homraj Tamang, Ajay Tamang, Dev Bahadur Dura and Matrika Prasad Khanal have been recommended for the proportional representation, informed central member Parasmani Poudel.
