Dal Bahadur Baram, 32, has died after drowning while fishing in the Langdi River in Satimeure, Siranchowk-7.
Baram, who had gone fishing on Wednesday, was found dead, said Rajan Lamsal, Police Inspector of the District Police Office, Gorkha.
Baram, who hails from Arukharka, Sulikot-5, Barpak and lives in Arkul, Siranchowk-7, had gone fishing in the river at around 2 pm. Locals informed the police after seeing him drowned in the river. The police said that an investigation into the incident is underway.
