The former Tourism and Industry Office and the Social Development Office, Gorkha, under Gandaki Province have been merged. Both offices have been merged to form an integrated service office and service operations have begun.
Office Chief Dashrath Sharma said that service delivery has been started by merging two offices as per the decision of the Gandaki Provincial Government Council of Ministers on Bhadra 15.
He informed that the office was merged as per the Organization and Management Survey Report 2082 of the Integrated Service Office Gorkha under the Ministry of Industry and Tourism of the province and the Ministry of Social Development, Youth and Sports.
‘We have started integrated service operation from the former Tourism and Industry Office. The services provided by both offices will now flow from here,’ he said.
