First, let's learn about the option to reach Krapu directly. For this, you need to leave Pokhara for Tangting by 8 am. It takes about 2 hours to reach Tangting by private vehicle. Buses and jeeps are also available from Kahunkhola in Pokhara. Buses leave from Kahunkhola in Pokhara at 8 am and 4 pm for Tangting. It takes about two and a half hours by bus. You can reserve a jeep to go to Tangting. The jeep has a capacity of 8 passengers. The fare from Kahunkhola to Tangting costs 6 thousand rupees.

If you start the journey from Kahunkhola at 8 am, you will reach Tangting by 11 am. You should have breakfast in Tangting and climb towards Krapu. A motorable road has also reached Krapu. It takes 4 to 5 hours to reach Krapu on foot from Tangting. Since the journey is through the Laligurans forest, the journey becomes more memorable if you go after Falgun. The glow of the sun before sunset makes the Annapurna Himalayas, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Lamjung, Ganesh and other mountains look even more enchanting. You can enjoy dancing and singing at night in Krapu. Krapu is a 'camping destination'. You have to spend the night in a tent here. There is a package of 1,500 rupees for this. The next morning, after sightseeing, you can have breakfast and descend to Tangting. After having breakfast in Tangting, you can return to Pokhara on the 12 noon bus. Those with private vehicles do not have time pressure.

Now let's learn about the second option to Krapu. According to this option, you can spend one night in Tangting and climb Krapu the next morning. The package in Tangting costs 1,200 rupees. This includes dinner, accommodation, and breakfast. After staying in Tangting, you can climb to Krapu the next morning. If you start from Tangting at 5 am, you will reach Krapu by 9 am. From there, you should prepare to return to Tangting after sightseeing and breakfast. If you return to Tangting by 3-4 pm, you will reach Pokhara by night.

For those who prefer to go to Tangting by public transport or walk, the first option is suitable. Because if you go directly to Krapu from Pokhara for the first night, your body will not be tired. Going from Tangting to Krapu in one day, then returning to Tangting and coming to Pokhara may cause physical discomfort. In such a situation, the journey can be extended to 2 nights and 3 days.

There is a forest of red clover around Krapu Hill. According to Himal Gurung, a tourism entrepreneur from Krapu, snow falls from the end of Poush to the middle of Falgun. Red clover blooms from the end of Falgun. The more snow falls, the better the red clover blooms. You cannot go by car during snowfall.

Overall, it costs 3 to 4 thousand rupees to reach Krapu from Pokhara in one night and two days. If there are a group of up to 8 people, it is advisable to go back by jeep. If there are 2 to 4 people, it is advisable to arrange a private vehicle. In cases where private vehicles are not available, buses can be used.
