The District Police Office has strengthened the detention cell. With the addition of new clothes and other necessary materials, the detention cell has become more comfortable.
On the eve of International Human Rights Day, SP Bharat BK of District Police Gorkha said that the detention cells were strengthened. He said that two male detention cells, one female detention cell and one wall surveillance cell were strengthened by adding necessary materials.
He said that with the help of Gorkha Municipality and Arughat Rural Municipality, 25/25 mattresses, sheets, fiber cloth, pillows, 1 dispenser, 5 thermoses and other materials were received for strengthening the detention cells.
SP BK said that the detention cells were strengthened with an investment of 394,400 82 rupees. He said that the detention cells were organized according to legal standards to make them human rights friendly.
