The body of a foreign tourist who went missing while traveling from Khopra, Annapurna Rural Municipality-5, to Dobato, Kaski has been found.

The body of German citizen Vizier Astrid Elisabeth, who went missing on November 21, was found on Monday afternoon. 

According to Surya Bahadur Thapa, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, her body was found inside a reed bush about 160 meters below the cliff of a bunker in Annapurna Rural Municipality-5. Guides and locals who were searching for the tourist after she went missing had informed the police after finding the body on Monday. 

According to the police, the body will be sent to Kathmandu for an autopsy and necessary investigations have also been initiated. The tourist went missing while traveling alone towards Dobato after staying overnight in Khopro, Myagdi. The police suspect that she may have fallen from the cliff.
