21 people have been injured in a bus accident at Bahrakilo, Gorkha Municipality-11, along the Gorkha-Ambukhaireni-Gorkha road section.
The accident occurred when a bus (Na 4 Kha 1419) stopped at Barhakilo Bazaar, said District Traffic Police Chief Suraj Aryal. The bus was going from Gorkha to Chitwan.
‘Initial investigation has shown that the bus did not brake and the driver did not even put on his seat when he got off, and the bus fell 10 meters,’ he said.
He also said that it was not yet clear how many passengers were on the bus. He said that the injured have been sent to Gorkha Hospital and further investigation into the incident is underway.
