According to him, there will be six stalls of Newari food at the festival. The price of chaku yamari sold at the festival has been fixed at 80 rupees and khuwa yamari at 100 rupees.
The first, second, third and consolation winners in the yamari competition will receive prizes of 15,000, 10,000, 6,000 and 3,000 rupees respectively.
In addition to tasting the yamari of the groups participating in the competition, the question and answer session will also be used as the basis for evaluation, said Newa Misa Puch Kaski Chairman Sangeeta Bajracharya. ‘In addition to tasting the yamari, we also give marks to questions on how it was made, what was used and related topics. After this, you will also come prepared with the dishes you will sell,’ she said.
