The provincial Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Land and Administration honored 14 new entrepreneurs from Bagmati on the occasion of Industry Day.

On the occasion of the 11th Industry Day, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Land and Administration of Bagmati Province presented the 'Outstanding New Entrepreneur Award' to 14 new entrepreneurs from the province during a ceremony on Tuesday.
On the occasion of the Industry Day, which has the main slogan ‘Improving the industrial environment is the basis of a sustainable economy’, 13 new entrepreneurs and one best new entrepreneur from 13 districts of Bagmati Province were selected and honored.
Tea Agriculture Farm Shelkar Tamang of Nuwakot was awarded the best new entrepreneur award. Jyoti Daman Agriculture Farm of Thaha Nagar in Makawanpur, Namuna Agro Products of Kavre, Galaxy Bee Farm of Dolakha, Champak Paw Industry of Bhaktapur, The Highland Art Fashion Design and Training of Kathmandu were awarded the best new entrepreneur award.
Similarly, Jaudanda Dhaka Industry of Sindhupalchowk and Rajesh Agriculture and Livestock Farm of Rasuwa have been selected.
Similarly, the best firms selected include Specon Pushtkari Udyog of Lalitpur, Namunchet Agricultural Firm of Nuwakot, Himalayan Handicraft Agro Nepali Paper Industry of Ramechhap, Ujjaya Soap Industry of Sindhuli, Pavitra Agriculture and Livestock Firm of Dhading, and Urban Nest Boutique and Rental House of Bharatpur.
The best and best new entrepreneurs were honored by Bagmati Province Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Baniya. The best entrepreneur was awarded one lakh rupees and 13 other best entrepreneurs were awarded a certificate of honor along with a cash prize of Rs. 40,000 each.
The ministry has been honoring the best entrepreneurs on the occasion of Industry Day by selecting them from among the entrepreneurs who have made significant contributions to the province's economy by operating enterprises within the province. The program, chaired by Minister for Industry and Commerce Bindu Shrestha, was attended by Bagmati Province Chief Secretary Baburam Adhikari and others. The event, organized on the premises of the Chief Minister's Office, featured 14 stalls showcasing products produced by the best and brightest new entrepreneurs.
