One person has died and two others have been injured in a road accident that occurred in Kawasoti, East Nawalparasi last night.
The accident occurred at Kawawasoti-16 Danda along the East-West Highway. A motorcycle bearing the number Na 43 Pa 3436, which was heading towards Danda from Kawasoti, hit a bus bearing the number Karnali Province 02-001 Kha 0564 and overturned on the road. At the same time, a truck bearing the number Na 6 Kha 4813 coming from the opposite direction hit it, according to the police. According to the District Police Office, Nawalpur, the motorcycle driver, 42-year-old Hira Bahadur Pariyar of Kawasoti-16, died in the accident. The injured Pariyar died at Madhyabindu Provincial Hospital during treatment. Sunita Joharja, 32, of Kawasoti-3, and Meena Magar of Kawasoti-14 were injured in the accident.
