Twenty people have been injured in a vehicle accident near Khajurikhola in eastern Nawalparasi.
The accident occurred when a bus carrying passengers from Narayangadh to Butwal fell off the road at Madhyabindu Municipality-8 on the East-West Highway.
According to DSP Madhu Nepal of the District Police Office, Nawalpur, the bus fell into a ditch about 10 meters below the road when the driver lost control.
Of the 25 passengers on the bus, 20 of the injured are being treated at Madhyabindu Provincial Hospital, Danda. An investigation is underway into the cause of the bus's fall.
