The District Police Office, Kaski, has arrested a boy who stole weapons from the police office during the protest on Bhadra 10.

Police arrested a 16-year-old boy living in Pokhara Metropolitan City-4 on Sunday after two months. The police have kept his identity a secret because he is a minor. His changed name has been changed to 2082/83 Kaski-31.

He was arrested while searching for the person who vandalized, looted and set fire to the police office.

DSP Hari Bahadur Basnet, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Kaski, said that a Chinese pistol type 54, which was in the possession of the Ward Police Office, Bagar, was recovered from him.

The police have started an investigation by extending the remand of the boy for 5 days on Monday by the Kaski District Court for the crime of criminal harassment.
