Three people were injured in a tipper accident in Duithok, Besisahar Municipality-9, on Saturday night. According to police, an empty tipper (B.P. 03-001 Ka 0469) coming from Midimkhola Hydropower towards Besisahar fell about 200 meters off the road at around 8 pm on Saturday night.
In the accident, 28-year-old driver Kaji Giri of Melamchi Municipality-8, Sindhupalchowk, sustained injuries to both hands, legs and face. His condition is moderate, police said.
Similarly, 20-year-old Suman Bik of Khandadevi Rural Municipality-2, Ramechhap, sustained moderate injuries to his back, while 42-year-old Sunil Moktan of Raksirang Rural Municipality-1, Makawanpur, sustained minor injuries to his chest.
All three injured have been sent to the Provincial Hospital, Lamjung, in Besisahar, for treatment, said Police Inspector Gyanendra Bahadur Chhetri, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Lamjung.
