Two people have been arrested for stealing a traffic police vehicle in Pokhara during a protest on Bhadra 10.

A team from the District Police Office, Kaski has arrested 36-year-old Bishwaraj Pariyar, a resident of Parsyang, Pokhara Metropolitan City-5, and 32-year-old Dev Kumar Lodiya, a resident of Shanti Tole, Pokhara-13.

They had stolen a Honda sign motorcycle bearing the number Ga 6 Pa 2061 that was parked in front of the District Traffic Police Office on Bhadra 24.

They were arrested from Parsyang at around 3 pm on Kartik 21 while they were riding the motorcycle, said DSP Hari Bahadur Basnet, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Kaski.

He informed that the investigation into the theft case against them was further advanced by extending the remand by 6 days from the Kaski District Court on Sunday.
