Seventeen people have been injured in a microbus accident at Ghumti Mod, Siranchowk Rural Municipality-4.
The accident occurred when a microbus (Ba 4 Kha 6043) heading from Bhachchek to Aanbukhaireni lost control and crashed into a wall on Saturday evening, said DSP Rajkumar Shrestha of the District Police Office, Gorkha.
Police have stated that the condition of some of the injured in the accident is serious. Those injured in the accident have been brought to the Provincial Hospital, Gorkha. The incident is being investigated and the microbus driver, Govinda Bhandari of Khaireni-10, Katthar, Chitwan, has been taken into custody, according to police.
