Of the total budget of the Gandaki Provincial Government for the current fiscal year 2082/83, 8.31 percent has been spent in the first quarter.

According to the data of the Provincial Accounts Controller's Office, Gandaki, out of the total allocated 31.97 billion 99 million 99 thousand, 2.65 billion 61 million 15 thousand rupees have been spent till Asoj. In the first quarter of the fiscal year 2081/82, 9.55 percent of the total budget was spent.

By mid-Asoj, 1.12 billion 73 million 21 thousand rupees were spent on current and 1.52 billion 87 million 94 thousand rupees were spent on capital, informed the office head Suresh Subedi. The government had allocated 12.63 billion 66 million 75 thousand rupees for current and 19.93 billion 33 million 24 thousand rupees for capital.
The Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development and Transport Management has made the highest expenditure in the first three months of the current fiscal year. According to the data of the office, this ministry, which received 37.48 percent of the allocated budget, spent 1.93 billion 82 thousand 312 rupees. This is 41.17 percent of the total expenditure. The Ministry of Physical Infrastructure has spent Rs 1.193 billion 90 thousand on capital expenditure and Rs 73.691 billion 919 thousand on current expenditure during this period.

The Ministry of Social Development, Youth and Sports has spent Rs 152.6 million, the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Management has spent Rs 119.2 million 52 thousand, the Ministry of Industry and Tourism has spent Rs 29.77 million, the Ministry of Economic Affairs has spent Rs 14.92 million 27 thousand, the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Drinking Water has spent Rs 553.23 million, the Ministry of Health has spent Rs 302.26 million, the Ministry of Forests and Environment has spent Rs 105.93 million 35 thousand, and the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers has spent Rs 35.72 million 23 thousand.

According to the data of the Provincial Controller of Accounts, the Provincial Assembly spent Rs 28.786 crore, the Public Service Commission spent Rs 12.30 crore, the Provincial Policy and Planning Commission spent Rs 4.922 crore, and the Office of the Chief Justice spent Rs 3.615 crore.
