Police have taken into custody four tractors involved in the illegal extraction and transportation of riverine materials.
The police have said that the tractor was seized from the Duighare-Dulerha-Putalikhet Pakkipul ghat located in Andhikhola, Putalibazaar Municipality-3, Syangja.
The tractor, which was seized at 10:30 am on Thursday, was sent to the Putalibazaar Municipality office for necessary investigation and action, said District Police Information Officer Prasanna Raj Chaudhary.
A police team deployed from the District Police Office said that it was taken under control simultaneously based on information that riverine materials were being illegally excavated and transported.
