The work of registering the details of the affected national identity cards has begun after the District Administration Office, Kaski, was arsoned and vandalized during the protests on Bhadra 23 and 24.

Assistant Chief District Officer Shiva Lamsal said that the registration of details has started only for service recipients with permanent addresses within Kaski district. He said that no service provided by the office has been stopped at present.
The administration's notice states that the details will be notified later to come and collect the cards that have already been registered and printed. After the agitation, the work of registering details was being done from the Area Administration Office, Lekhnath.
