The police have begun an investigation into seven people arrested on charges of burning the Hoopsekot police station on Bhadra 10.

According to District Police Information Officer Mohan Khadka, their remand was extended by four days by the court on Thursday. 'Investigation is underway,' he said, 'but no complaint has been received at the police office against those who burned down other private houses.'
